trying to pull lt1 out the bottom of 95camaro. need advice
I'm stripping a 95 camaro z28 and I'm looking for a quick check list of things to do to pull the motor out the bottom of the car.
I figure I should be able to pull the car off the motor/trans(t56)/wheels and kmember.
I know similar is done often and I'm looking for just a list of things to do so I don't go missing something and get in a jam or break something.
Starting the list
-Remove PCM and engine harness
-Rad & Condenser
-Exhaust
-Driveshaft
-Steering Shaft
-optionally headers
not sure on all the kmember bolts etc..

Leave the harness on the engine, radiator still installed
Unplug the harness, disconnect the fluid lines, brake lines near the k-member, ds, crossmember y-pipe. Drape the harness ends and PCM over the intake and lift the car off the drivetrain

Pretty much what Pocket said above, but I like to remove the radiator and condensor just in case. I think it also makes it easier to wrap the chain through the frame as there is less stuff in the way. Again not saying it is the only way, just the way I like to do it. I also remove the hood for a little easier access, but it is probably no big deal on a car you are going to scrap.
