Trying to decide what I want to do with my lt1 before I drop it in. Originally I was just going to re-ring and new bearing the 350, then I was going to bore 30 over and Same process, however now I'm thinking about doing a 383. I have the chance to get a free 383 rotating assembly, it's in a 727 block so it should be 1 rms, can I just swap the whole assembly flex plate and balancer or does it need rebalanced. The assembly only has a few thousand miles on it but car was overheated and popped a head gasket and cracked a head so the guy is giving me the assembly, no clue what brand and material however it only has a few thousand miles on it. I'm not sure which route to go and if this assembly will work in an lt1
