Third Fuel Line from TPI Setup? Pressure Line? What to do with it?

So have a ls1 installed in my 91 Z28. I have the a corvette regulator/filter installed aswell.

There is a third line that is coming from the tank, that I had blocked off during the motor swap, and had intentions of coming back and doing whatever I needed to before the car got on the road. Well I completely forgot about that line, and 3,500 miles after the ls swap, I started spewing fuel everywhere, because that line came unblocked. My car could have went up in flames.

So with that said, what should I do with this line? It is not the return or feed line. It is a third line. I believe it is called a pressure line, not to sure though.

Old motor was a 305 TPI

Goes to the charcoal canister. On my bird its on the passenger side of the bay, but I believe a camaro would have it on the driver side.

Thanks! I remember now.

I removed the canister, and no longer am running it with the ls1. How can I properly block or remove the line?

Its just capped off on my car. There is already a pressure relief valve on the tank, driver side where the lines come down.

One of these days I'll cut the line off near the tank and cap it there. But you should cap it, afterall, those are fuel vapors.

Thanks, I'll do the same.

Do you have a vented or non vented gas cap?

The pressure relief valve will take care of that. It also has a small inlet valve to equalize negative pressure inside the tank when the engine is running. If you follow the fuel lines up towards the tank by the driver side wheel you'll see the small white valve.

Just cap the canister line so you don't have fuel vapors INSIDE the engine bay.

I also removed my charcoal canister on my swap. Just as an FYI, that line that runs up into the engine bay can be removed back by where the fuel lines connect to the fuel sender. You'll just have to remove it from the hold down clips along the way. I also really have not noticed a fuel smell with that line uncapped back by the tank on my car.
