ls1 swap
ls1 swap
So I just had a thought!
Let's say I had a donor camaro that was an ls1 can I take the complete interior (seat, dash, console) including wiring from the inside out (engine, dash, firewall, fuel pump) and put it in my 84 camaro will this bypass the need to make a custom harness? Will I be able to just put it all in and plug it up and it's ready to go? Pretty much what I'm asking is if I take everything besides the body of the donor car and put it in my car will it all work? (Engine, gauges, lights, fuel pump, etc.)

Re: ls1 swap
Yes, I have the entire engine harness and underhood body harness from an LS1 f-body in my car. The dash and wiring for it has also been done several times on here. As far as interior the seats will directly bolt in. Plastics will be an issue.
