Not the sensor, but the pigtail.Seems like its just an extension.The harness comes down from the top.Only to have this pigtail run back up.There is nothing between the pigtail connectors.Couldnt I just omit that & plug the harness straight into the sensor?

 

I haven't picked up my cam sensor yet, but it looks like its just a pig tail to route it down and away from the accessories. All of the stock sensors are routed the same way.

 

That's kinda what I was thinking, but i could probably keep the harness out of the way w/out this.

 

Theres nothing wrong with ditching the pigtail. Bear in mind the pigtail and sensor use different connectors
