Fair deal? 5.3 and 4l60e?

Okay so i have been looking for a ls motor for a while now and i stumbled upon a craigslist add that had a 5.3 and a 4l60e out of a silverado. Supposedly has new trans seals. He is asking 1300 for both, i am going to try to talk him down a bit. But i wanted to know if this is a fair deal? Both have 143k miles on them. Also comes with motor mounts for a s10/camaro.
Thanks!

Seems at the high end of the range but not out of it. If you can see/hear it run, if it has any recent work done to it, etc., might not be too bad.

The S10 motor mounts probably won't be of any use to you, but you could probably get a couple bucks selling them.

If the deal doesn't include the PCM and harness, the price is too high. Hopefully the Silverado was 2WD.

I got mine from a local junkyard. I got to hear it run. Plus it came with a harness and pcm. Only paid 1100 with tax. I would think that's a rather high price for a craigslist deal

Re: Fair deal? 5.3 and 4l60e?

He wanted 1300 for the motor, tranny, motor mounts, ecm, and harness. 140k
I talked him down to 1000 for tranny motor and harness, ecm. (it doesn't have an intake or accessory drives) Supposedly he was going carb but plans changed.
It was a 2wd. I am going to pick it up next weekend if i follow through with it lol

Pass on it, unless you can pick up those missing items for under $200.
