Re: Which size stall for lt1

Depending on the year lt1 the cams were around 205/207 447/459 117 lsa some were 202/207 450/460 116 lsa some had 112 lsa. That being said that duration puts the cams around 1000-4800 maybe 5000.

It really doesn't call for a stall. Jus a stock convertor. I wouldn't get a stall unless ur gonna upgrade the cam.

If you jus gotta have one maybe tci Saturday night special has about 2000-2500 stall but tci isn't best converters for racing ok for street I guess.

May lose mpg in city stop n go type driving when converter is open but not when its locked up.
Bolt on lt1 for optimal track performance would be something like 3600.
Street car i would do 2800

Its going to be a street car, more than likely daily driven.
