Which size stall for lt1
What's the biggest I can go until I start loosing a lot of mpg? Engine is stock, will have bolt ons.

Depending on the year lt1 the cams were around 205/207 447/459 117 lsa some were 202/207 450/460 116 lsa some had 112 lsa. That being said that duration puts the cams around 1000-4800 maybe 5000.
It really doesn't call for a stall. Jus a stock convertor. I wouldn't get a stall unless ur gonna upgrade the cam.
If you jus gotta have one maybe tci Saturday night special has about 2000-2500 stall but tci isn't best converters for racing ok for street I guess.

May lose mpg in city stop n go type driving when converter is open but not when its locked up.
Bolt on lt1 for optimal track performance would be something like 3600.
Street car i would do 2800
