Power expectations 4.8 ls1 intake and cam?

Well the 5.3 I bought for my girlfriends 85 camaro swap turned out to be a 4.8 when we pulled the heads to swap lifters and cam ( motor had a bad cam and a couple tore up lifters ) The motor was in a 4th gen f body when we got it, so it has f body accessories, ls1 intake, and we replaced the bad cam with an LS1 cam. I am wondering what sort of driving experience she can expect out of the car when its done. Its not a race car, but I don't wanna put her in a total pooch. Car will have a 4l60E and stock 85 z28 rear for now, I'll be putting a 373 4th gen rear in it as soon as I put a 9 inch in my 02.

Depending on what year/car the LS1 camshaft and 4.8 came from, the car should act like it has a basically stock or a slightly improved 4.8 in it. The LS1 camshafts are very close in size to the truck camshafts. The stock truck intake also flows very well, so with the plain LS1 intake, the motor will be pretty mild.

The cam specs I've found between the motors can be found here (post #8). http://www.performancetrucks.net/for...-specs-429160/
