Electrical Problem
I placed a 97 LT1 into my 86 IROC and have not been able to get it to fire. I have read every post I could find on the subject, with no luck. Some history on the engine. It was roughly removed from a 97 Camaro, wiring harness included. It then sat outside for three years. It was cover but not tightly. I have rebuilt or replaced all the mechanical parts and things seem fine. I am now wondering if I should give up on the ECM and/or wiring harness and buy new? I seem to remember reading that someone was making a wiring harness specifically for this LT1 gen 3 swap, am I crazy? It has been too long since it ran, I need to get the IROC back on the road.
Re: Electrical Problem
I wrote a LT1 harness build thread and most if not all my LS1 wiring threads can apply to LT1s. If you've got a specific question, hit me up. I also build new harnesses

Re: Electrical Problem
As I said I am concerned about the condition of the ECM, it may have gotten wet, is there a way to verify that it is working correctly?
