LT1, What about that PS tank?

I'm at my motor again and since I've never been happy with the PS tank mounting, I'm wondering what everyone is doing with it?
Pics would be great!

i bent a piece of steel and used the tank mounting tabs and put it on the wheel well. This is from a 94 caddy fleetwood. Whats your current situation?

I did about the same thing but made a bracket that bolted to the bottom alternator bolt.
Just had to be careful to run the hoses out of the way of the header.

Re: LT1, What about that PS tank?

I visited a junk yard and took the bracket off of a B-body LT1 car. That has the "tabs" that slot into the tank. I straightened it out, then bolted it to the front clip between the battery and the radiator.

I need to use some different hose routing to clean it up but it works perfectly.

Mine is barely hanging on. I quickly bent piece of flatbar and drilled a couple holes. It's just sitting on one of the studs for the strut tower with a nut to hold it down. It works but it's not pretty. It's the F Body tank.

I used the res from my 95 z28 donor. It got moved when the shop did my alignment, I have not since out the second bolt back in because the hole doesn't line up anymore. I will have to drill a new hole to make it work again, but when both bolts are in it works great.
