Re: 91 camaro lq or ls swap?
LS and LQ are the same thing, except LS is aluminum block, LQ4 is 9.4:1 6.0L, LQ9 is 10.x:1 6.0L. Most go for the cheap, most-common 5.3L LM7, same thing again, iron-block, 4.8L is LR4, usually cheapest, most potential. We have a how-to sticky thread in the LTx / LSx sub-forum

Welcome aboard thirdgen.org.
It's also in the Engine Swap forum stickies (from where this thread has been moved).
Read through that. Some of it won't make sense until you actually do the work, but at least you'll have more of an idea about what you have ahead of you.
If you're thinking LQ4/9, LM7, or whatever engine from a truck, there's a link that discusses the additional work required to swap one of them in a 3rd gen.
