LT1 swap with stand alone harness in my IROC
LT1 swap with stand alone harness in my IROC
Hey guys long time reader, first time poster.. I have swapped my 305 TPI for a low mileage lt1 with an accel stand alone harness. Not 100% sure what the motor came out of, but it has the factory corvette serpentine setup and regular valve covers (not the composite corvette ones) Everything is installed that I know of, and now I'm looking at my tach, wondering how that's going to work.. is anyone familiar with accels harness? Or how I might be able to get the lt1 to adapt to my stock tach? Any help greatly appreciated!

I don't have the wiring diagrams on hand to direct you exactly where to go but as I recall the factory LT1 ecm has a pin for the tach, and connect that to the wire from the c100 on the firewall for your gauge.
