Need help with LT1 swap

OK I got a 95 lt1 out of a road master came with Trans and harness and pcm OK do u need a different mount for the Trans than my 700r4 can I make a standalone harness I found a page on how to make a stand alone will it work and can I use my stock radiator

Trans is basically a 700R4 but electronic shift controlled by the ECM. Mount would be the same. Radiator will work and yes you can make a stand alone harness using the LT1 ECM and harness. You may need to modify the radiator but shouldn't be anything major. Maybe someone will chime in with a more definitive answer. HTH!
Almost forgot, you will need to do something for the torque arm as your 700R4 has the torque arm mounted to the tail shaft. You can get a trans mount with provision for torque arm mounting or you may be able to swap the tail shaft from your 700R4 to the 4L60E. I believe it to be a direct swap.

What would I have to modify on my radiator and I'll probably buy a mount to bolt to the Trans or fab one my dad works at custom fab shop sure can come up with something and awesome thank you for the info it helped alot

OK my motor and trans are in and the trans that came with the lt1 the mount is like 5 inches off the cross member any ideas might just use the 700r4

Please confirm what engine/transmission were in the car before you started this swap.

Putting the TH700R4 back in won't be a "just" proposition. You need a throttle body that can accommodate the TV cable for starters.

It started as v6 then swapped 74 sbc in now putting the Lt1 in the car have a 700r4 from a v8 84 trans am
