Will AC compressor from 07 Chevy 3500 Van work with high mount AC brackets?

Hey all,

I'm doing an LS swap into an 84 Firebird and I plan on using either Dirty Dingo or LSSimple high-mount brackets to put the AC and Alternator in the stock TPI position. My question is, will the truck AC compressor work in the High Mount location? Does anyone know? I found one reference that said it wouldn't because of the pulley position/style but I don't remember where I saw it (stupid me didn't bookmark it) so I can't find it again. I'd rather not spend money I don't need to on the compressor I'm currently looking at buying if it won't work. Any help is greatly appreciated!
