4l80e help!

Are all 4l80es the same or is there a particular one I need/ should use in my third gen? and will a stock 4th Gen drive shafts bolt up to it and a 4th Gen rear end?

The 1991-1996 have the old style lubrication. 1997 and up have the new and better style lubrication. Im not too sure about the stock drive shaft but Im pretty sure the 4l80E is longer than the 700R4 or 4l60 so you would need a shorter driveshaft.

theres couple thread on this crossmember needs be modified for sure I cant remember about the driveshaft 4th gen and 3rd gen rear in are identical minus the width so nothing special there
