who to use for mail order tune for 4.8 build
I started a new thread to ask you guys who does a decent mail order tune for modified engine builds?
4.8 factory efi with headers, cam, prc stage 2 head job, 4l60e,ls1/6 oil pan, intake,rail,injectors, and accessories. All going in 86 Camaro

No decent tuners in your area with a Dyno? That's probably the best way to do it if u can find someone good.
I mailed my ecu to speed inc in the Chicago area for a pre tune 1 month before my Dyno tune. Got it back within a week or so and drove my car for a while to test for issues. Then trailered my car to them for a day of Dyno and road tuning. Well worth it and never had an issue. They are only 3hrs from me though.
I have heard of people saying great things about frost mail tunes on ls1 tech? Might be worth a search if he still does it on there.

A mail order tune should only be a bridge to get you to your dyno session without damaging your motor. It should give you enough driveabilty to get you there. If there isn't any speed shops around you might want to look at DIY.

anyone know any respectable/good dyno tuners in the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area?
