Cam selection for 4.8 build

I am in the process of building a 4.8 cammed for midrange power with 6k redline, prc stage 2.5 heads,36# injectors, built 4160e, factory 3:42 gears all in 86 Camaro.

I am wanting a cam that would give me good down low and midrange power.

I know limited information on how cams work, what would a 201/209 601/603- 110 feel like in a 4.8 efi with 3:42 built 4l60e?

What is your final compression ratio going to be and what intake will you be running? A small is the key to having a broad power range in the smaller 4.8/5.3 mills. Your choices are endless but I would keep overlap to 0° or less and not exceed 220 duration. Since you have PRC heads, give Texas Speed a call and have them match/grind a cam for you.

the bottom end on my 4.8 is stock, everything is stock minus cam and headwork... thinking about using factory truck intake if I can get it to clear. No boost, no spray, not a daily driver but want driveability for street fun and occasional road trips
