I am going to build a 383 LT1 but I need to see some different builds you all have done. Mostly just concerned with compression and cam combinations. I need to be-able to run 91 octane because its a daily, but want the max HP on pump gas naturally aspirated. I will be running the stock aluminum heads ( 68 cc ported and polished of course). Let me see what you guys are pushing for numbers, cams and compression ratios. Thanks.

Advanced induction or lloyd elliott for a cam. Depending how well ported, 226-230 deg on intake lobe. Mid .500 lift

Flat top 11:1 is where i'd stay on 91 even being reversed cooled

These get up around 400 whp fairly easily. Solid mid 11 sec car

sweet thanks for the input! Is everyone tending to stay away from Crane Cams? I have always had good luck with them but I am open to suggestions for sure.
