Lsx berlinetta

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum....don't know why I never signed up before lol.

anyway I have a 84 berlinetta with the digital dash I'm swapping a 5.3 into. The projects has progressed well, almost done. Im lookojg for some opinions on my setup.

The motor is a 02 5.3 lm7 I'm going to install a ls6 cam which I got for free. I also have an ls6 intake, TB and injectors to go with it. The motor has stock ls1 manifolds (for now). It will have a CAI, the exhaust is going to 3 inch single with dynomax muffler and high flow cat from flowmaster. The cars goin to be auto, ive installed a 4l60e from a slp 4th gen. What kind of numbers crank or rwhp Will I see?

also hypothetically if I get 300-330 rwhp, what kind of times on the 1/4 should I pull. (Assuming I have a 3600 stall and 3.73).
I'd like to see a mid 12 seconds out of this car and wonder what itl take to get there.

Re: Lsx berlinetta

My dyno results were 340 hp and 320 torque. I put a 5.3 58x in my 84 Trans Am, and I used a 220R 114 LSA cam.

That's at the wheels. I like this article, and I found it when I was researching dyno runs.

Re: Lsx berlinetta

Your combo is likely good for 300rwhp. Give or take 10 in either direction
