Very nice, I think it's actually a pretty good price, includes everything as well as the AC compressor, hardware... If you had to build this....

Right and assuming you have enough forward space (which you should) this would allow a LS into a third-gen with no modifications to the third-gen. Just wires and custom AC lines.
It even puts the power steering pump very close to where the thirdgen was.
I did a somewhat middle of the road LS swap, tubular K-member $1300 , then I replaced all the donor part drive accessories with new or rebuilt parts which came in around $400. Custom AC lines $120. Bought a donor car with 96k miles on it for $4500 shipped, sold about $1800 in parts off it and old parts off the thirdgen. With this kit you should be able to just bolt it in with a proper pan and mounts.
Sure you can do it cheap, notch the kmember $100 and a 1/2 day of work, junkyard truck motor/trans and all drive accessories $2-5. And about another $800 in odds and ends (solder, heat shrink, zip ties, tape, gaskets, if you keep track of it it adds up fast).
I'm sure this kit will come down in price, my only issue is it seems you can't buy the water pump housing by it self, so if that got broken... I guess by then the cars totaled anyways.
Hotrod garage put it in a caddy--
Anyways was hoping someone had used it so I could see the radiator spacing. I may put this on the wish list for 2.0 version of the swap in a few years.

I went with their top mount system since it retains the normal water pump. This system is really nice but has a high cost of entry and the water pump becomes integral to the set-up. It's similar to what GM is going with the LT motors.
The price honestly isn't that bad if you start with all new parts. You'll have $800 tied up in the ATI balancer and AC compressor alone. The little odds and ends will add up. I ended up not going with this route since I already had more of my accessories pieced out.
