Trailblazer intake on 5.3L hood clearance?

Trailblazer intake on 5.3L hood clearance?
I saw a couple of conflicting posts about clearance. I know the throttle body mounts can be shortened a little. Currently my SBC w/ superram has about 3/4in clearance to the hood.
