Stock t/a 85-90 hood wont fully close

Hey everyone i installed a hsr setup on my 88 gta and im finally putting my body panels back on and as i finished putting the hood on and tried closing it it doesnt want to fully close i dont wanna get a aftermarket hood it seems like it hits on the reenforcement brace of the hood i also replaced the motor mounts to poly ones is that a problem as well

HSR doesn't clear factory mounts either, the poly just exaggerates the problem. You stated you want to stay with the factory hood. Imo, just clearance the inner structure of the hood. Iirc, it hits in drivers rear and pass front (throttle body). On factory mounts a ball pen might get you enough clearance. If the clearance is real bad you may have to cut out and weld in new metal. Another option is to lower the engine down if there is room and check and adjust driveline angles. I personally would clearance the hood.
