I have an engine LT1 from a Firebird 1995 and I want to install it on a Firebird 1983, can you please guide me on the mounts I need to buy an additional pieces.

 

Take a look at the stickies atop the LSX/LTX swap page. Also, use the search function. The LT1 has the same mounts as a small block chevy. Any reason why you want to go LT1 vs a SBC chevy? The LT1 is outdated and not really better than any mild build small block.

 

Thank you for your quick response, the principal reason is the LT1 is almost new and for budget reasons I cannot buy a new engine yet. But in Mexico City the LS/LT swap culture is small yet.
