Auto trans/exhaust advice

So i swapped a 6.0 vortec with a few upgrades into my car and got a th400 off marketplace but am having issues now with ground clearance and gearing. I was just going to swap rear end gear to help with normal driving but the exhaust thing is a real issue, i basically bottom out on any tiny bump. So anyone have advice which way to go with this? Plan right now is to either make, or have someone make me a double hump crossmember and grab some shorties to get some room. The Hooker Blackheart is also an option but wanted to see pricing for someone making me one first. At this point though im thinking of maybe just swapping to like a rebuilt 4l60 or something but there is even more work that goes into that with controlling it and i believe the driveshaft length is different etc. So before i start buying stuff to start assembly next spring what do you guys thing would be the way to go here, i really dont want to swap the trans but i could be talked into it if there are enough positives to it.

The holley blackheart trans cross member gives a decent amount of room to run 3" pipes per side. I have true duals and rarely scrape.

Yup. Blackheart headers, which aren't made anymore but others have used speed engineering, Hawks or kooks with equal results. The holleybtrans crossmember has spaces specifically built in to allow exhaust to go around it.

Hmmm maybe the easiest way would be to just grab one then, i thought i needed the whole mounting kit but it seems like people are just using the cross member and modifying a bit and it works fine.

Nothing really to modify. There are various trans adapters for this crossmember and there is adjustment in the mounts. Im running this crossmember with UMI kmember and mounts. So mix matched brands. Do you have a picture of your setup? Ill get one of mine whe not posting from my phone.

I dont have a great shot of it but i can try to get a better one tommorow, car is on the ground though so might not work out. Here it is going in though and i think its a UMI member right now even though its not on in the pic. Its basically just a tube with the 2 plates on the end for attaching to car.
