Believe me, I thought about that too, but I wanted this to look like something that I just bought off the showroom floor, and thought that the stripes might be too much for what I was shooting for. http://photobucket.com/albums/b275/c...action=options

stunning
my hat is off to you, that car is put together as tastefully as i hope mine to be one day.
i think you missed ONE appearance mod...
Blacked out or night shaded tails... It would be perfect with that color.
I'd think nightshade would be best, because of the varying grays you get when you spray them.
but the car is most definitely 100% done, its all preference

i think the tail lights do look a little out of place with the paint, but i definantly wouldnt put on the blackouts. i just personally really dont like them. although i have never seen them on a silver, i really dislike them on black, white, red, blue, etc. i guess its worth a shot to photoshop though. it makes the car look kinda cheaply done, not as sleek.

i just think the amber part doenst fit in at all thats the only dislike in these tailights i love the design. Id black out the amber or just make it red. I wanna try painting the lens from the inside so you can keep the outside shiny

yeah the only reason I am doing it is cuz I have wiring issues that make me have to re-arange what lights do what. And I need them to all be red. Damn Painless harness.

If i actually knew something about polishing and buffing i bet u could get it shiny, but not sure cause it might just take off all the old paint, never know.

quick input on the lights. I am 99% done painting the inside and the outside. Looks super close to red on the rest. Only a trained eye can tell. i will take pics and post comparison in a new thread. (no polishing and buffing, just paint)

That car looks really sharp. I like the color and the sidemarkers go great with it. The rims look great too. Keep it clean man
