These are pics of my '89 RS I picked up a year and half ago for $500. After slowly working on it, I took it from a pealing red car to this;

















Engine after replacing all the gaskets and painting/ detailing it before being dropped back it:





Still have to get exhaust sorted out and finish up some small details inside. Not sure if I'll be installing any radio equipment as it'll be seeing track duty.

 

The motor looks real nice. The only thing i would have changed on it would have been to leave the intake manifold with the aluminum finish to it.

 

If your going to run headers, those spark plug wires won't work. Get yourself a Taylor or MSD set.

 

why are your intake runners so dented?
