Has anybody fitted boyd hotrods

Hi
I want to fit boyd coddington hotrod wheels 18x8 front and 18x9.5 rear
Has anybody done this with success and what backspacing will be needed.
The arches are standard and would like to keep them like that if possible?
1986 camaro.

Theres a couple people with them on here. I'd look for Camaroguy18. He has the exact set I believe and could help you out and get you a good look at them. If you search for camaros 1085-1992 on cardomain.com you'll find his on the front page its a candy apple red color.

Re: Has anybody fitted boyd hotrods

I'm running 17x8 front and 17x10 rears, same I believe as Camaroguy18, just in 17's. My fronts have a 4.5" backspace and the rears have 6.0" backspace.

Good luck, and post pics when you get them mounted.

Re: Has anybody fitted boyd hotrods

i have 18x8 with 4.5 bs on the front and 18x9.5 with a 5.5 bs on the rear. I have vette brakes and if i did it again , i would want the fronts in about a half an inch , i mean they dont stick out but they are out as far as i want . So id get 18x8 with a 5 inch bs . And the rears i have 275 35 18 and they have no sidewall so im going to 275 40 18 and im not sure how they fit , but my car is lowered a bunch and they just touch the tire. So if i were you id get 18x9.5 with a 5.75 bs .
