ok guys ive just bought my 87 5.7 tpi irocz back for the third time ... lol... i think im gonna keep it this time ive put a few dollars in cosmetics and performance parts... its all black with fiberglass hood and wing 17in aluminum edlebrok wheels toyo tires flow master valve cover and blaster coil ... it looks good it runs good and now im ready to go fast! ive read all the newbi threads and most of them say u have to know wat u want first... i want a 13sec daily... i want gears that will make er pull hard but not be too bad on the highway not sure how big to go though... ive been thinking about a diff. t-body but im not sure wats too big 52mm or 58 or if bigger is better... its got a b&m shifter but it really needs a shift kit i hear the superior kit is a good one... i want a ignition box to adjust the timing cause i put a 100 wet shot on it last summer (14.3sec in 1/4)and after a couple runs i decided it prolly wasnt save on a completly stock motor so i un hooked it , but i would like to hook it back up... and eventually id like to put a cam in it not sure wich one would be best for my app ... any suggestions on gears , TB, shift kit , cam, ignition ect. etc would be greatly appreciated
