mine on 85-87 IROC's with grey inserts, flat hood:

mine on 88-90 IROC's, flat hood:

Re: Lowered sport Coupe
what's the purpose of the car? if you do alot of drag racing, then cutting 1coil off the stock stuff will do everything you need. any more than 1 coil and you'll be scraping exhaust, especially if you ever plan to run longtube headers with custom y-pipe or dual exhaust.
if the car is going to be built more around cruising/handling, i would suggest the Summit Racing Equipment brand if you're on a budget. i called summit and they said they are re-packaged Eibach Pro-Kit springs. i believe they may have powder coated them a different color as well, to keep people guessing who's springs they are. you can get them for like $150 or less.
for a mild drop and great handling without sacrificing ride quality, i'd go with a set of Hotchkis.
...i've looked into it a little...

Re: Lowered sport Coupe
Its mostly for cruising/handling and appearance, stop light racing.... I want the fender to tire gap to be a little more closed. I was actually thinking about the summit springs before posting this.
Another question, How did you know your 87 was an LT? Ive thoug mine possibly could be

Re: Lowered sport Coupe
haha, i figured that would come up at some point, lol! i don't own anything other than the mickey t's and the steelies now. the 91-92's were ssean92's on here, he let me borrow them one time when i didn't have anything else to roll on. the different iroc wheels have been bought and sold over the course of a few years.
i found out it was an LT because it still had the LT emblem on the sail panel. otherwise, i would have never known. you can get the RPO codes and check that, that's all i know to do though.

Re: Lowered sport Coupe
mine had dummy lights in it, no tach, but a rather large fuel gauge.
all 87-90 camaros had the rear spoiler third brake light.
check out the History/Restoration board, there's a sticky about LT's
