Re: Finally Painted my car!

That looks really nice! Have you been painting for a long time?

Our cars will almost be twins. Mine is scheduled to be painted next week. It is a black 85 Sport Coupe with a cowl hood also.

Yeah I had a 4 inch on my ol 89.. the right side of the road took some getting used to at first.. yours looks much larger than mine did.. maybe it's due to the gfx or something..

Yes, factory iroc wheels. As far as aftermarket goes the possibilities are endless.

Re: Finally Painted my car!

Don't get me wrong, I like craiger ss's, I just think they look better on muscle cars, they're kind of dated looking and don't really go with the third gen body style IMHO, they are an improvement over early 3rd gen rallye wheels though. If you think they look good thats all that really matters though, it's your car. To the OP I think either the pro stars or the TT's would look great on your car. I don't think the rims you currently have look all that bad though, I think it's more the stance of the car making them look out of place, if you lowered it and went with different tires they would probably look decent, are they centerlines or AR ripoff's?

Re: Finally Painted my car!

that looks great! it's such a rewarding feeling once you've done all that work on it to finally see it in one color. i really think the sportcoupe/berlinetta's look slick with the fatty/skinny look. i've been rockin' it on my own car like that for a couple of years now. the pro-stars would be a good choice. and if you're looking to pinch some pennies, the summit street-star is a pretty excellent wheel and is a bit cheaper. i've been thinking about a set of those for my firebird for some time now...
