They are only scans, not original digital pictures. They were taken of my car before the advent of digital cameras.

It has gone through several phases of appearance. I changed the color slightly when I had it painted to repair factory defective clearcoat, added the datona hood, and had the rims painted to match. Later I changed the rims to Weld draglites and eventually swapped the 305 TPI for a 383 with carburetor. The car also has a Currie Ford 9" rear with 3.25:1 gearing. The last picture is what it looks like now.

Here's some scans of my 1982 Indy Pace Car. I had to get rid of this one in 1994 due to a remote military assignment. I eventually had the East Coast Customs ground effects kit on it and a Motion Class wing.

Here's my 1989 Irocz. It still needs some work.
I'm debating if to paint it back maroon or go with black. It has black interior.
It also has factory defective clearcoat that is flaking off.

 

Stay maroon...IMO that color looks amazing on these cars, especially with the gold lettering of the IROC-Z along the side.

 

Yes it does, but the black & gold looks good too.
The first Irocz I'd ever seen was black & gold and it made a big impression.

 

By chance do you have any pics of the tan interior? I'm looking at a white 87 IROC with grey interior and the wife says it would look better in tan.... if you do that would be great!

By the way both are nice looking rides! I'd say stick with the maroon.... IMO!!!!

The first too pic's of your white one is identical to mine, I have a White 86 iroc, 305 tpi, with the Gold rims, and interior, Very cool, Thats like only the 2nd time I have seen it.
