Engine: 305 TPI conversion.
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 3.73 posi 4th gen rear
88 cmaro vert project
i picked up this vert for $1500. its a 1988, originally red with black interior. it had a 305 tpi and 700r4, with a posi drum rear.
the tpi was switched to a carb,the trans is shot, and the top needs a little fixing. the body is good although it needs resanding and paint. the wheels are chromed iroc rims that are in bad shape and has 205 65 size tires. i still have to remove the "spring spacers" and repair the exaust mounts.
the good news is that i have a storage unit full of third gen camaro parts.
this is going to be a fun project. its being restored to original. i may change the colors but thats pretty much it. the wife wasnt happy, but i set a goal to have it on the road by the end of may. this way ill drive the orange one and she can drive the vert to the gathering in atlanta.
