well I haven't really been busy with the car sadly just have to many other projects going on. But I've finally had alittle time and got some stuff ordered and other parts sent out for work.
I got a accel super ram base at the machine shop being cleaned up.
here a picture of my new cam (first for me)
Its a comp cams 08-501-08 thanks to some very helpful people on this forum.
I got the calipers stripped and powder coated just awaiting reassembly the photo dont look very good but they turned out great.

I also got everything for the brakes except the modified hubs which are at the machinist now.

also got some hawk hps pads. Trying to decide if I want to get new rotors or just have the ones I have turned.
thats it for now Hope to get the head back on monday and start reassembly

Moved the car back to my house.
I put the motor and transmission in. and one subframe connector lol. working on that.
This is such a larger project for me I'm losing track of things and losing my mind.

Don't lose your mind... it's a car project, things will always get messy lol. You'll pull through and it'll be really sweet when it's done.

well I've begun to try and organize and reroute the wiring harness. I also have finished the hardlines for the fuel and brakes.
Stupid russel ss brake line broke?? Put it on and it seems like it was to short and just broke off at the tee. Dont want to mess with trying to get it fixed so ordered one from flynbye.
the underside of the car is all cleaned and undercoated its crazy how nice it looks and is to work on. just wish the body was as nice.

just a shot of the front underside.

Re: The hopes of a beautiful thirdgen start here.
well finally got back to working on it. Had some major issues installing the super ram installed it once and wasn't comfortable with how it was done. So pulled it back off took it to work and studded it and then reinstalled it much better now. So that should be good I hope I really don't want to deal with any vacuum leaks.
also have been getting alot of the little things done, Making some serious progress, getting really close to actually hearing the car run. Which will be a relief and a motivation..
Some how bent the clutch master cylinder rod so had to dish out for another system.
one more picture.

How hard was it for you to install all the sway bar bushings, tie rod ends, center link, and sway bar end links? I am looking at revamping all those on my car too and just wanted to see what kind of work would go into it. I am liking the progress on this....any more updates?

Hey Its really not hard, Youll need and alignment after though, And it helps to mount the swaybar endlinks then mount the bushing to the frame if your doing it by your self.
I dont have any pictures but the suspension is done and everything is torqued.
Just need to bleed the brakes.
And I've seam sealed the interior, and begun laying down fatmat.
