This year I finally was able to use my Gfs garage... Except now instead of being covered in snow my car is covered in yard equipment. On the hood alone is a big lawn chair, a big lawn mower, a garden hose holder and a wheelbarrow lol.

Okay glad to hear the car is inside, however if it were me and someone put a lawn chair and lawn mower on the hood....well I'd be going to jail for sure....even if it needs to be restored, take that lawn equipment and throw it out the door man.

Re: Camaro covered in snow

Ok, I know winter took some time to arrive but snow is falling everywhere! Lets see those pics of third gens covered in snow..

This pic isnt my car (mine is in the garage). I believe its a 1992 RS purple vert...Its parked a mile from my house and obviously this owner was smart to park it during this latest snow/ice storm we just had in Seattle....

Re: Camaro covered in snow

Now to put myself on the list of those who subject their cars to this...

http://www.flickr.com/photos/53106660@N03/6742129483/
A good wash after a storm or once a week keeps the car rust free... Watch out for salt and sand buildup in the k member though. When I undercoated my car I emptied about 5lbs of crap out of there... I filled it with undercoating... No problems since.

Currently it has warmed up to a blistering 39 degrees and it rained so all my cars are nice and clean! More or less that is...

Re: Camaro covered in snow

Poor camaros! I guess its not too bad as long as there is no salt out... living in Canada I have never driven a thirdgen in the winter. The salt is crazy, and its just not a good winter car lol

So you would prefer we start new threads about camaros covered in snow?? Are you serious?? Lol! I think one thread brought back to life once a year would work for most people on this forum.

Those are some crazy picture's, I was cold just looking at them! I have never seen icicle's on a car. Wow I would freak if i woke up to seeing my car buried like that. Matter of fact the last time i saw snow was a good 20 years ago. Our temps have been 70 deg. a week or so ago we were close to 80 deg. I really don't know how you guys do it. What does everyone do there for fun when all that snow is laying around? Hide out in the house? lol CRAZY!

all clean... Just get your baby to a good touch free undercarriage wash once a week, and she will stay mint.

I have a sister living in Arizona. Must be nice (except this year... winter seems to be backwards for most of us on here).

You guys haven't lived until you've come out to about a 1/4" of ice covering your car. Those couple of days were fun. I think that was only the first or second time I called in to work at that place (there was NO way I was driving that far in THAT crap, knowing how bad the roads are when they're NOT icy). That was when I almost got t-boned on my way home, ironically, by someone pulling out of the place I currently work at .

68Strat, are those pics on the Pike? Some of those storms you guys get out there are nuts!
