This is the first car I've ever bought on my own. Been racing in other cars for a while and wanted something fast for the street. (the change from a 77 chevelle street stock to an SUV just sucked!) so i found this car for 600 dollars.

specs:

-305 engine. wanted a 350, but i figured for the price and condition it was ok.
-electric fan
-cold air

- auto trans
-looks to be stock exhaust with a cherrybomb glasspack. (looking for suggestions, want it LOUD)

- some aftermarket rims, not sure really what they are.


needs:

-turn signal
-brake job
-seat belt retractor thing. not sure on the proper term for that
-paint job

i figured this was a great start to get into some older cooler cars, but nothing that will break the bank or overload me.

I used to have an 89 rs. I use the term "have" loosely because it technically wasn't mine. If we got it running it would have been though! Anyway, looks great! Can't wait to see what you do with it. Any other plans other than fixing what you listed?

 

probably going to get some headers for it. don't really have a lot of money so more than likely a new engine/ trans is out of the question. thinking a red ad black paint job (my colors) depending on how much that costs. other than that probably just little odd and end things.

 

please take those colored plastic wire protectors off....it looks horrible.

 

yea i didnt put those on there haha, they were on when i got it.

 

wouldnt look so bad if they were black, or chrome
