ok whats up everyone? new to camaros not to cars, or forums lol, ok so i have a built 1989 z24 with a 2.8L n a 5 speed, but thats my daily, i just bought a 1989 Chevy Camaro RS with a 3.1 n auto trans, what ya think? i plan on swapin out the 3.1 for a 350
details: its a 89 with a 3.1 4 speed auto, flowmaster exhaust, JVC speakers, black cragar 342 wheels, n i think thats about it, oh n its t tops woohoo lol,

SO FAR what iv done is replaced the dash, the floor pan, the dash pad, guages, the t top center section and seals, welded the exhaust, new springs and struts, pianted the spoiler black, soon to have a black grant wheel and a 350 with a th350 turbo trans n IROC posi rear
ALSO the intake ISNT painted, i replaced the upper n polished it its polished aluminum, im gna get around to puttin bigger injectors in it and replacing the lower intake, also gna strip and polish the valve covers maybe

not sure what trans i want yet, havnt decided on an engine trans combo all i kno is im going old skool just HEI ignition and a carb no more computer,
and yea that was the original plan was to get a Z28 to match the Z24, oddly enuf i found a 1988 Camaro Z28 blue and silver that matched the z24 for cheap but it was beat, good body but the 305 was worn out as was the 5 speed, AND IT WASNT T TOPS lol i wanted t tops so i settled for this one, which i may paint teh gfx to match the z24, not sure
ok first question, just want opions, when i do my v8 swap shuld i stick to the auto trans or swap to a 5 speed? personaly i prefer stick over auto but thats mainly cuz iv had under powered cars between 150-250hp n drivin 5 speed is more fun, but with a 300-400hp v8 what would you guys sugest?
