while its been a bit since ive worked on it but i got something good done something to start rebuilding i painted the engine bay i spend 2 days cleaning it out and painting but i think it looks good





what do you think ?

 

started cleaning the k-member and working on the back end of the car





the wrong bumper is off and getting sold and the right bumper is getting put on and got the hatch open and lock fixed so i can get in it now

 

front sub frame undercoated and k member cleaned and painted

the engine is inching up close to being in the car

looks like good progress on both cars... im a little lost, are u doing 2 seperate builds or making one car of the 2?

 

the white car was a 85 z28 i used for a parts car for the 84. If you look through theres not pictures of the white one after i bought the black one (black one is my 84). I like the sport coupes + the car has 0 rust on it not even in the floors but the white car would have needed floor pans or patches. so basically using the body from the 84 and lots of parts from the 85 to make one solid car

This thread makes me feel better about myself, LOL. Can never pass up on a good deal. Such a good feeling bringing home new stuff to mess around with. Nice work.

 

..... i have 3 more project cars as well lol so yeah no need to feel bad i dont think ive ever passed up a deal on a project or parts i have about 6 boxes of little parts and a 10x30 side of the garage packed with deals i got for camaro parts lmao

not in that test fire but yes i will be running them i needed to trace down a issue so i did a 30 sec test fire to find it than this vid im putting exhaust on soon
