Very nice job. I am fortunate enough to have a dad period. He is a good one. He taught me a lot about working on things. I like your paint job. You can tell it was done right. Car looks very good! I know you are proud. My son is 13 and we(mostly me) are working on our 89 for him. I have the opposite problem. I want to work with him and teach him but he would rather play his playstation. Dont get me wrong. He likes cars and he has helped me work on the car but I think he will become more interested when he gets closer to 16. I mean it is 3 years away.

cool thread the begining reminds me of when I got my 86 iroc when I was 16. And the rest of it with the motor reminds me on when I build my 84 z, and painted the engine bay and what not. COOL!

Yeah I got a job working at the shop in the pictures when I was 15. I was never really into cars until then...Im sure once he gets his license he will be much more into it.
But yeah, I love the look of really plain, well flowing cars. Ive been thinking about the stripes but nothing I have seen has sold me yet...I like it how it is. And im definately going to get the emblems just done feel like droppin a hundo on them haha. Thanks guys appreciate all the comments.

I say put in stainless steel emblem or have some custom made ones the would fit with your dads name, just an idea. Im sure your dads friend who paintes might know of some places.
