Sooooo I changed my heater core today (finally) it was a pita to say the least haha. For anybody that needs to change theirs soon, my condolances go out to you

Just started pulling the dash apart on my 88 Firebird to replace the heater core. Any tips or tricks you want to share?

Take your time with it. Keep track of all the screws. Be gental with the plastic parts so you dont crack them. Do it right once so you dont have to do it again.

Yea patience is key here. I didn't pull my whole dash out I just pulled off the dash pad and layed on the passenger floor and a flashlight. Also there's a lot of screws that look like they're connected to the heater box that really aren't so just be careful and take your time
