Re: post pics of your modified 3rd gens

yeah no offense but it just looks hacked up now, the straight cut "notches" you have implemented everwhere just look like some guy without much fab skill got a saw out and made some cuts, then repaired it all with flat sheets of material.

I do a fair amount of glass work, it would not be hard to finish you ideas out to look ok if your willing to put in the time

Dont listen to those ******. I think its a great project your building. Who gives a rats a$$ if its not what they like. Your putting lots of time and effort into it, and when its done you'll be able to stand back, look at it and enjoy what you have created. It will definetly be a show stopper once its done, and if people dont like it, then tell them where to go!

Haha, eBay and craigslist are full of show-stoppers gone wrong, just Sayin.

I'm actually really interested to see how this turns out. It could go either way, but with the proper paint and body work, you might really come out with something cool.

It's a mockup LS1 and it had a batwing on it that made it hard to put the engine in.

Re: post pics of your modified 3rd gens

very interesting thread, I almost missed it being in the camaros section as I don't really look in it much. I'm always interested in any modification of this kind. Maybe this thread should be moved out of members camaros section and put in the main auto detailing and appearance area, since this is for modified 3rd gens. This way those who have firebirds who don't come into this section may view and contribute.
And nice cars so far.

Do you think I really care what you think of my car. I never knew a 454bbc with a tunnel ram was riced out.

And what kind of person bashes someone else car like you just did, And what i riced out about that third gen? It is called customizing and Americans have bean doing work like this on american cars long before people were doing it to imports, I can see by your bashing and what you have said you really do not know that much,
There is nothing wrong with a tunnel ram setup with duel carbs, It looks cool plane and simple, and if tuned right works great. I don't know why the OP is running a cog set up but I do know it sounds like there is a blower under under the hood. That's just an old hot rodders trick.
But if you are just going to bash someones work, someone vision you really don't belong here, Just because it's not your taste, Maybe you can't do this kind of work so all you can do is bash someones work instead of seeing the skill, the hard work and imagination it takes to do this kind of work. It is sad to think what kind of person bashes someone work like you did.

If all goes well, should be running by next week. Recently swapped in a 350 to replace the blown-up LB9. Low rise spoiler soon.

Has this car won COTM yet? If not I think someone deserves a nomination

Nope, no love. Been here for years and not even a nod!!

And the GP got traded in on a 201 WHITE Malibu, so we mixed it up a little, and added a 94 Black Impy SS as well
