With the fall colors, clear skies, and good visibility, this is prime time to get some good shots of your ride. I went out after a rain yesterday and snapped 2 shots, traffic was too heavy otherwise and I was by myself. I shoulda rolled up the windows, but still the wet road and dramatic sky makes for a cool shot. Also, the ol' LS loves cool air. Fall air is like nitrous from the sky...gotta love it.

 

The time of day lighting might be good, but you took a picture of the wrong side of the car. The shadow is on the passenger side which means you are taking pictures of the dark side of the car.

 

Actually the sun was to my back. The low light angle, strong reflections from the clouds, and wet pavement make the normally "light" side look dark.
