FINALLY MY BUILD THREAD
Well I know I have posted some on here but really haven't said too much about my car and its build.
I am not doing the actual build because I don't have the tools and knowledge to do it, but I am doing all the planning and design.
I bought a whole sub frame connector kit from S&W race cars. It has the control arms, transmission mount, the drive shaft loop, pan hard bar kit and bushings as well. I also purchased a ford 9in rear end from them that was made for my car,,a center section from strange, 32 spline axles, 411 gears and a Detroit locker for the positive traction. I had to buy a new cat back system from Magna flow (stainless of course), and a will wood rear disc brake setup. Now we have run into a few problems, but s&w has made it right. Now I am having a new drive shaft made because my original one is just a little short.
I am going to put nitrous on my stock 305 for now, but am going to put a 383 stroked in it when my funds get replinished. But the car should still be fun until then.

Re: FINALLY MY BUILD THREAD
After I put the new motor in, then I guess it will be time for paint and body, then the interior. I am going to have way more money in this project than I had originally planned, but, I have been wanting an IROC since I was 17 and I am now 44 so I guess I can go over budget a little......actually a lot.
But in the end, I will have one bad ride! I will be able to take it to the strip, or be able to take it out for a good cruise with the a/c on.

I wish someone would move this to a more visible spot. I don't think I am getting too many views here.

I always view new posts and I believe most others do also. So as long as you keep updating folks will see. Do you have photos? I'd like to see your progress.

Got my nitrous kit ordered!!! When it gets here, it is going straight to my mechanic!! I bought it off of ebay, so I hope it is one I can actually use!
