Hello guys and girls. Starting a build thread. I have had the car for four years and now im finally getting to the point where Im going to be doing some serious work on it.
Its a Iroc-z with the 350 tpi and 700r4 and the g92 package. I stripped out the entire interior, and had it sent to a shop where all the rust around the floor pan and trunk areas was taken care of. Now the entire car is lined with por15. I am just now putting everything back together.

 

I will be posting several pictures as I go along. The end game is to have a 383tpi with the ls1 coil per cylinder conversion mated to a t56. I haven't selected a rear end or brakes to go with yet. I also dont know what I'm going to equip the 383 with, I was thinking afr 195's just because that seems to be common, coupled with a sutible cam and rotating assembly that I also havent selected yet. I planned on using the super ram to use on the top end, but again this could be far down the line.

 

Keep in mind, gas mileage is NOT a issue. This car will be a toy, its probably just going to see action on road courses and the occational cruise. I'd like to invite any gurus in on this for support so hopefully as I go along every aspect of the project is done right.

Also, if anyone could identify the items in those two pictures that would be great. I dont have a clue.

 

Also, I'm using the a/c ducting insullation that is used in houses as the insulation/sound deadener. If anyone could give any input(good idea or bad) on this before I use the second roll i have, that would be awesome.

 

The box with the 08049 looks like the cruise control computer box.
