This is my 82 berly I bought for 300 bucks. Lots of plans. Little moneys. So this is going to take a while.
The car is mostly stripped out, and I plan on taking it the rest of the way down and getting it blasted.
General plans are 434 SBC built on a dart block, with AFR heads and forged internals. I want 600hp at least at the wheels N/A too. Trying to find a t-56 built well enough to handle it.
Full cage(12 or 14 pt?) watts link, sfc's stb etc etc.
Strange s60 rear with 3.73 spool.
Upgraded brakes, not sure which kit yet.
To top it off, Im going to try to get pretty much a full interior, minus the back seats.
Obv racing seats (Corbeau TVS?)
5pt harnesses.
Intelletronix elec dash (blue)
Car will most likely be painted Flat black.
only have a couple lousy pics at the moment, Ill try to get better ones this weekend.

Re: Project Road Rage
Sounds like a cool project. One question, why a 434 GenI SBC instead of a LSX? They offer so much more HP per $. Just wondering. Good luck with the build.

More or less because thats just the way I am. And I always wanted to build some SBC that you dont see everyday. Just like if I were ever to boost anything I'd stick a big ol huffer on something long before turbo's. Old school I guess haha

Probably more than that. Motor alone is going to be about 6k, rear end is 3k. so theres 9 before even getting really going. I figure in paint, body work and body parts in another 1-1.5 k. Plus cage, seats, some interior pieces, etc etc.

I seen a lot of the S&W racecars 11-1013 8 point and 11-1513 10 point cages used. They fit real nice, from what I've seen.

Well made a little more progress today. Took the drivers door off, got the dash out as well as the heater box.

Re: Project Road Rage
Long Time no update. Havent been making much progress, got it a little more stripped down, not much left to take off. Mainly brake lines, passenger door, hatch and fuel lines. Kinda Finalized in my notes what my goal here is. 434 Cu In SBC 600+ hp. Th400 manual valve body with a gear vendors unit attached. Dana 60 rear. Only thing Im needing help figuring out is tire size.
