91RS Project
Hi all. Back from the dead lol. Been off for a while due to selling my 84 Z/28 back in 2010. Picked up this beauty lol 91 RS 305 TBI auto. 80,000. Needs TLC but got it for a steal. Plans are already in the works. Susp, wheels, Tires, and LS swap.Already picked up wheels, tires, and susp parts. 😬 I'll be posting progress as much as possible. Hope you enjoy the project.

Re: 91RS Project
Update on the project. Fixed the usual Tachometer issue thanks to all the posts from members on here. Can't say enough about all the great tech advice and fixes on here, thanks!!! Also replaced all the bulbs behind the instrument gauges with LED bulbs. Looks great. Started cleaning the front wheel wells to prep for Herculiner coating.

Re: 91RS Project
Front suspension is in!!! Just need a loaded chassis for the sway and wonder bars. Plus a treat. Got these great looking adjustable rear control arms and panhard bar from Performance and Restoration. Pretty solid with poly bushings and Heim joints, and at under $200 shipped they are a steal. They even powdercoated them to match the front A-arms! Next up is front brake kit, rear shocks and rear sway bar bushings and hopefully I can come across a disc brake posi rear cause the one in there is UGLY!!! Closer and closer to sitting on the ground.

Sorry for the sideways pics. For some reason I can't get them rotated correctly.

Re: 91RS Project
Hi guys. It’s been a while but been busy. Front brake upgrade, cleaning up interior, and a new lift. Things are looking up
Next up is rebuilding a rear disc setup for it and replacing the fuel pump. Hopefully it can be on the road this month!!

We are on the ground!!! Still driving it around to settle the suspension. Replaced fuel pump and filter. Found the dreaded “pump change upgrade 😕, but will put a nice access door to clean it up. Brembos stop nice. 😬 Next up rebuild a rear with posi and disc brakes just need new gears. 3.73 should wake up the 🌲 o 5 a bit. 😂

Re: 91RS Project
1-1/4" adapters for the front. No adapters for the rear. Ya a little but I'm not too concerned. Not rallying it at the moment but you never know. Thanks!!!

Re: 91RS Project
Thanks Bill!! I’m not a fan of that or any ratchet shifter. It was too clunky for me. I like to keep the interior mostly stock. I won’t be drag racing it so the stock stick works for me.
