1984 Berlinetta with a bit of IROC
Last night I picked up a 1984 Berlinetta from Craigslist. It's rough and dirty with a seized engine and moss growing on the bumpers. Not too much rust, but some on the doors and a little under the hood. Has an IROC hood and rear end.
I'm picking up new doors, rear hatch, and probably front and rear bumpers this weekend locally. Needs a good bath and then I'll start tearing her apart to see what I find!
It's a 305 automatic. Has been sitting for two years. Needs a fuel pump and a carburetor. May be pulling the engine to try and rebuild. Otherwise I'll wait for an LS motor to put in because I don't want to dump a ton of money into the 305 if it isn't easy enough to get running.

Does it have the digi-dash? Because all the "Berlinetta" identifiers are long gone. Looks like a Sport Coupe on the outside, and that's a good thing. I hope you can resist the temptation to muddle it up with ground effects and Z28 bumpers. Sport Coupes just look CLEAN without all the Fat Elvis excess.

So small update. Washed it so I could push it in the garage. Where it'll probably sit for a while during the initial rebuild. Here's some pics of the grit and grime all over the car, and after removing it. Paint is still bad but at least nothing is growing on the bumper any more. I really don't get how people can let a car sit and not wash it once or twice a year to keep it from getting this bad. Even not running.

Posting photos for my reference.
Also here's an album of engine pics as well. I don't have a carb or fuel pump.
