Old car, new owner and member
Hello everyone,
I'm CJ, I'm 19, and I just bought this car. The old man who sold it to me told me about this forum, and gave me a list of what I got with the car.
I will post a pic when my girl wakes up.
This is a red '86 Camaro sport coupe with the factory V8 option. It has the louvered IROC hood swapped on.
It still has it's original engine, but right now it has a Performer EGR intake manifold, an Edelbrock 1406, a new LT1 starter, new KYB Excel G struts, a Lunati Barebones 214/224 cam installed with a Comp Cams double roller timing set, a 1977 HEI distributor, new Summit headers with new Flowtech Y-pipe, and it has it's original 2.73:1 axle but it came with a set of 3.42:1 gears.
It has new tires on mismatched wheels, which looks bad to me.
The first 3 things it needs are new front brake hoses, a new idler arm, and a new center link in the steering. So I have it up on jackstands.

Ok, got pics, but the holiday weekend is my excuse for not posting until now. My lady caught me acting silly, this was the best pic she took, sorry.

Re: Old car, new owner and member
So right now I just want to get it rolling and running. I have a paycheck coming, and when I get that I will buy new front brake hoses, and a new idler arm, and a new center link.
So I should get those ordered on the first, but I may not post much here until they arrive.
Thanks for the welcome.
