Starting a new thread on this, but a few pics of where the car currently stands. Old thread was "Thoughts on 85 Iroc for restore"...., but since the process if farther along, I will post more photos on it as I progress. First two photos are how the car looked last fall when I had it shipped in from PA. Today, I got it back from paint. There are a few minor imperfections, but overall the base/clear turned out well. I am still considering what to do with the graphics. I have the Phoenix set, but may just leave the IROC-Z off for now, along with the striping, and just run it with the new Z28 Decals. The ones on the car now are the old ones, so they may look a little crusty, but will be changed out soon.

 

Looks good. I’d have to get the decals on though.

Looks great. I love the Iroc decals on these cars. I hate that mine is a sc but I couldn’t find a real Iroc.
