I bought this car in 1991 in Hawaii. Traded a 1987 GTA in on it. I'm new to this forum but I have always loved F bodies. I have never not owner one, two second gens (Trans Ams) prior to the GTA. Just finished the restoration last year, working on her twin now. A 1991 Convertible Z28 which no longer sports the 5,0L. Hawaiian car purchased in 1991.

This is the Convertible 1991. Got her about 4 years ago as a parts car but I couldn't bring myself to tear down a functioning 3rd gen. My youngest daughter playing it cool
Wow beautiful cars! I really like the 1991-92 Camaros. With the Banshee nose grafted on to the Firebirds in those years, Camaros became my preferred 3rd gens at that point.
My thoughts exactly. She (the convertible) will get the same paint and stripping update as the coupe. Both are subtly modified with the 1991 Firebird Door Cup/Map holders and the Convertible now has a 350 TPI with a mild street cam, 3.42 Limited slip rear end, 145 mph speedo and the corrected drive and driven gears so the speedo is accurate. The body badging is also updated to 5.7L Tuned Port Injection and the suspension and steering have been stiffened to be consistent with the performance update. Both A/Cs are updated to 134a as they don't get used much and tended to leak eventually.

Not in Hawaii. In PA, served in the military and was stationed there where I bought it new. Hawaiian State Troopers were driving them at the time as well. B4C models. And yes, I own them out right.
