heres my 1991 z28, i found her in a barn back in jan 2019, sit there for 13 years, i looked for a 3rd gen for 4 years before i found this one that fit my budget, we cleaned the fuel system, and after about 100 miles, the transmission lost 3rd, and 4th gear, due to sitting for so long, so i had it rebuilt and beefed up a bit, i never liked the highrise spoiler, and blister hood, so i swapped them out for a iroc hood with tracspec louvers, and a traditional 3 piece wrap around spoiler, and i made the spoiler extension from 11guage mild steel, ive been told its no longer a z28 cause i changed out the spoiler and hood, so i guess its just a base camaro now, lol
i got a staggered set of ridler 675s 17x8 front with 245/40s, and 9.5s with 275/40 federal 595 tires, all kyb syspension, drilled and slotted rotors, full led conversion with digitail led taillights, and blue angel eye drl headlights (to match the wifes blue eyes) aka #dirtyeyez (ac/dc song), did the 4core radiator swap, and a jvc/pioneer system with 2 12s and 1000watt amp, that sounds amazing, she now sits with almost 38,000 miles, had 19,000 when i got her, had ceramic 15% tint all around, and was repainted last year cause factory paint was pealing clear coat over the roof and trunk lid, sides still looked great, so we stripped her down to bare metal, and my dad sprayed her back to the original color #9536pearlgunmetalmetallic , shes an automatic car, but my future plans include a 5speed swap, along with a blueprint 396cid sbc, shes a g80 car with 273 gears so ill be going with 373s, and a holley fuel injction system, ive still got to do some interior work, driver seat has wear, and a droopy headliner, but other than that heres my 91 z28 iroc rs berlinetta or whatever you want to call it, i did the iroc decals cause i like the looks of them, but shes not a real iroc, and heres some pics of last weekend from #us129 tail of the dragon, east tennessee/ north carolina area
